Lumen can't directly use DV/Firewire cameras at this time - only USB webcams are supported. That said, Lumen can process Syphon streams, and you may be able to use a third-party app like Syphon 1394 to create a Syphon stream from your DV camera.
It should be noted that you can try out this workaround in the demo version of Lumen.
